Hounds is a new TV3 drama currently in pre-production. The story is based upon a central family and numerous characterful surrounding characters that live for greyhounds and greyhound racing.

After extensive research, numerous conversations and a couple of one-word emails, the Hounds production team have decided upon the Niche Cameras Sony F3 camcorders, RED pro primes and the Optimo 16-42 zoom lens, as their kit of choice.

The Hounds production will comprise of two shooting units. This is the first ever Niche Cameras F3 shoot, and the first F3 drama shoot in New Zealand - (we are hoping our 2 x cameras will arrive in time for the scheduled start date)!
